Finally seems that Cisco is adding Layer 2 features to the CCIE R&S Troubleshooting section… In my opinion, that’s make sense since we are talking about a R&S exam, right?! I think all candidates agree with this new change. However and considering that we know that (at least all the gurus with plenty of CCIEs talks about it…) this kind of exam also needs a good preparation from the physiologic point of view, in my opinion is a little unfair that this kind of change is being integrated in the lab exam just with 2-3 days of difference between the announcement… I know that a CCIE candidate needs to have great skills in troubleshooting all the subjects from the blueprint, and all that stuff…bla bla bla…
It’s not my case but I’m just concern about the additional physiologic effects that some candidates will suffer at least for those who will be doing the exam next week, or even worst next Monday… If that was my case, I would be felling a little “unconfortable”, at minimum… Anyway, life is not fair even when you schedule your CCIE lab exam!
